The Indirect Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and funding approved loan applications received through indirect lending channels. This role ensures that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, compliant with credit union policies, and funded in a timely manner. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT EXPECTATIONS

Take training required for the position.

Understand and comply with all state and federal regulations and laws. Ensure compliance with all governing regulations, especially the Bank Secrecy Act requirements. Bank Secrecy Act knowledge will be determined by the employee's position and responsibility.

Learn and understand all Lending Policies

Seek additional training in areas outside of the job requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is of a sedentary nature with limited need to lift or otherwise move objects (10 lbs or under). Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Requires manual dexterity and visual ability to work at a computer terminal, utilize keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Must also be able to deliver and receive verbal communication.

SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years of experience in auto lending, indirect lending, loan funding preferred.

Knowledge of indirect auto lending process and dealer/Refinance partner documentation.

Computer knowledge, good analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with an understanding of credit union loan policies.

Ability to manage time effectively and possess good problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Lending regulations and compliance standards.

Some evenings and Saturdays may be required.

Working knowledge of auto loan documentation, titles, and lien requirements

Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with indirect auto lending

Understanding of lien, title, and collateral perfection processes

Knowledge of state-specific DMV and title processing requirements

Credit union experience and understanding of the member-owned financial model.
