HOW WE DO IT:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sales growth and management of all sales and marketing activities within the appointed region. This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in
WI, MI, IA, IL, IN, OH, or MO . The role will manage territories across
WI, MI, IA, IL, IN, OH, MO, KY, OK, AR, TN, TX, LA, MS, and AL . The Regional Sales Manager’s leadership is key to maintaining the company’s image and developing sales to Henderson Distributor (Dealer) and State / DOT end users for quality products and services. You will accomplish this by: Forecast, develop, and effectively implement sales and marketing plans to achieve territory sales forecasts and goals. Develop effective distributor (dealer) relationships, including understanding of buying cycles, distributor business plan, and end user needs. Recommend business development or advertising programs, regional trade shows, and other market specific activities to cost effectively promote Henderson products. Identify revenue opportunities and monitor competitive activity and trends, informing management as appropriate. Maintain sales programs by keeping customers informed directly about available services, equipment, prices, and new products. Utilize a sound Sales Process to ensure customer problems are solved. Assist customers in selection of equipment for specific applications. Assist with product trouble diagnoses and resolution. Regular travel schedule to effectively manage assigned territory in the Central US region. Knowledgeable of features, benefits and use of products, with complete knowledge of selling techniques and ability to develop business and close sales Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Related field required 3-5 years experience in sales, customer service, or business development Extensive truck equipment industry knowledge preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude and problem analysis and resolution ability; ability to work with equipment specifications Technological skills required with knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel and Word in Windows environment Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player Working Conditions
