The Workover Consultant / Well Intervention Specialist provides field leadership and technical support across a wide range of workover and well intervention activities. This role requires a broad hands-on background, strong operational judgment, and a collaborative mindset. The successful candidate works closely with operations teams, contractors, and stakeholders to safely and efficiently execute workover programs, with a focus on teamwork, shared accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Support and oversee workover operations including rod work, tubing work, cleanouts, and ESP-related activities Execute approved work programs while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing field conditions Coordinate daily activities with rig crews, service companies, and operations personnel Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements Identify operational risks and contribute practical, team-based solutions Monitor job performance and assist in troubleshooting mechanical or downhole issues Participate actively in pre-job planning, safety meetings, and post-job reviews Maintain clear, accurate daily reporting and operational documentation Support continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices across teams Skills And Qualifications
Broad, hands-on experience in workover operations including rod, tubing, cleanout, and ESP work Strong understanding of workover equipment, wellbore conditions, and intervention techniques Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative, solution-focused approach Open-minded, adaptable, and receptive to input from operations, contractors, and peers Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, respect, and shared ownership Ability to work effectively under changing priorities and field conditions Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence Comfortable working in a leadership support role without reliance on authority or ego Proficient with basic reporting tools and standard office software Job Details
