About the role You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research to find prospective clients, developing relationships, and driving new business. This role involves working full-time, Monday through Friday.

What you will do

Generate leads thorough research using various sources, including public databases, industry reports, and internal records, to identify target companies

Identify companies currently utilizing competitor services

Analyze, vet and verify the suitability of identified prospects to ensure they meet established criteria for outreach

Initiate cold outreach with leads where there is no prior relationship

Book qualified meetings for Corporate Sales Manager and Account Executives

Manage inbound and outbound leads

Serve as the first point of contact, qualifying prospects and supporting Sales discovery and demos

Maintain clean and accurate lead, client and prospect data in Salesforce by entering prospects, updating records, logging activity, and following simple workflows

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine research criteria and prioritize target companies

Provide regular reports on research progress, lead generation metrics, and insights for decision making

Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to enhance research effectiveness

Who you are

Experience:

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

You have 2 years' experience in Sales or the legal services industry. You have knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce.

Technical competencies:

You are comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents. You are able to use research tools and databases with proficiency.

Strong organizational and time management skills:

You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments under deadline. You are able to think analytically, using principles of research and synthesize information from various sources.

Strong communication skills:

You have strong verbal and written communication skills via phone or e-mail. You communicate in professional, friendly, and confident manner with prospects, coworkers and others.

Positive attitude:

You consistently demonstrate a positive customer service attitude. You are self-motivated and proactive in solving problems in complex and nuanced situations.

Adaptable:

You are eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. You demonstrate resourcefulness and can adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced environment. You are able to apply principles of emotional intelligence in challenging environments.

You have the ability to retain and implement instruction and training. You are open to learn and navigate our current processes and systems. You are not afraid to ask questions.

You are a punctual individual and able to follow an assigned work schedule. You are able to maintain client confidentiality at all times. You are successful in an entrepreneurial environment and able to use good judgement in ambiguous situations.

Office environment:

You are able to work during our regular business hours in our Austin office. You are able to remain in a stationary position on the computer for prolonged periods.
