Responsibilities

Deliver against a quota to generate cash and improve energy efficiency for clients

Prospect for new business, present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities through the employer’s CRM systems

Collaborate with internal teams to create technically viable and economically attractive battery optimization proposals

Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure high customer satisfaction

Qualifications

College degree (engineering undergrad degree or MBA preferred)

3-10 years of B2B sales experience in the energy sector

Understanding of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technology and demand response programs

Proven ability to develop, negotiate, and close customized deals

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of utility rate structures and the broader energy market landscape

Experience using tools like PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Google Suite

Strong cross-functional leadership skills with a focus on collaboration

Proven track record of giving and receiving constructive feedback
