We are partnered with a large cap private equity fund ($20bn) on FP&A Manager for one of their portfolio companies ($1bn, $150m EBIDTA). The business is the leading national operator in the transportation and concessions sector and is seeking a FP&A Manager to partner with the CFO and private equity sponsor in driving value creation and preparing the business for a future standalone exit. The division generates over $600M in revenue. The company recently emerged from restructuring and is now focused on growth, operational discipline, and complex strategic initiatives. This is a data-driven, execution-heavy role focused on analytics, reporting, and decision support - ideal for an intellectually curious, detail-orientated, and driven finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, change-oriented environments. The FP&A function is undergoing modernization, and the incoming leader will be instrumental in embedding financial rigor, improving business partnering, and creating scalable, data-driven processes to support decision-making and growth. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Group CFO, Divisional CFO, President of the Division, contributing to strategic and financial decisions. Analytical horsepower: Deep comfort with large data sets, building models, and extracting insights quickly. Execution focus: Highly detail-oriented and capable of driving outputs independently. Drive forward-looking analysis, forecasting, and performance management to support growth and value creation. Present confidently and persuasively to senior executives, investors, and the board. Instill financial rigor, operational discipline, and accountability across the organization. Partner cross-functionally with operations, commercial, and accounting leaders to enhance reporting, planning, and analytics. Establish rapid reporting cycles and drive improvements in monthly/quarterly close-to-report timelines. Support on the development of KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives. Serve as a catalyst for speed and insight, transforming the FP&A function from reactive to proactive business partnering. 7+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally within private equity-backed or fast-moving private company environments. Background in investment banking, consulting, or professional services (e.g., Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Big 4) preferred. Deep experience with financial modeling, reporting, and KPI management. Exceptionally hands-on and analytical with a strong focus on execution. High EQ, leadership presence, and intellectual curiosity. Hands-on familiarity with modern finance systems (Planful, Great Plains a plus). Must be based in New York (non-negotiable; relocation supported).
