Lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a growing entity. Ensure accurate reporting under IFRS, strong internal controls, clean consolidation support for the parent company, and practical financial guidance for leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader who can execute and also develop the team and the function. Key responsibilities

Financial reporting and close Own monthly/quarterly/year-end close calendar, deliverables, and quality checks Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS Provide consolidation support and required reporting packages to the parent company Review journal entries and account reconciliations; resolve exceptions quickly General ledger integrity and controls Maintain chart of accounts and GL governance Design, implement, and monitor internal controls (segregation of duties, approvals, audit trail) Ensure control compliance while keeping the business moving Budgeting, forecasting, and business support Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles Produce variance analysis and financial narratives leaders can act on Manage weekly cash flow reporting and oversight of AR/AP and banking needs Present key financial drivers to senior stakeholders Audit, tax, and compliance Coordinate audits and tax filings with external auditors/consultants Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including sales tax Systems and process optimization Identify and implement process improvements and automation Leverage accounting systems and Excel to improve speed and accuracy Support ERP/system changes as needed Payroll and related administration Prepare and review bi-monthly payroll Oversee payroll-related programs including group insurance and 401(k) coordination Lead, coach, and develop junior accounting staff Create clarity on ownership, process, and standards Operate with confidence in a direct, fast-paced environment Be hands-on early; build scalable structure over time Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 10+ years progressive accounting experience 5+ years in a leadership role Experience managing accounting operations across multiple locations/entities In-depth knowledge of IFRS Advanced Excel skills Atlanta-based (commutable) Strongly preferred: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage Accpac)
