Job Title: Underground Utility Locator
Salary:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:
10 hour shift, Monday to Friday, on call, overtime
Location:
Multiple locations
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations.
Utilize provided mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities such as electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
Indicate utility locations using paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel and other authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs per the established rotation schedule.

Valid driver’s license in applicable state of employment
Ability to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule

Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients
Physical Demands
Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required by the assigned geographic locating area.
Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times per day.
Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
Sit for long periods while driving.
Lift or move 50 to 150 pounds.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Education
High school or equivalent (Required)
License
