is seeking a
Director of IT Operations
to oversee enterprise-scale infrastructure supporting mission-critical financial and trading operations.
This is a senior leadership role for a hands‑on IT operations professional with deep experience managing complex environments, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of enterprise IT infrastructure (cloud, networks, servers, storage, security, backup, virtualization)
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting financial services operations
Own infrastructure monitoring, performance analytics, and KPI reporting
Drive ITSM / ITOM best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead incident response, outage management, and disaster recovery efforts
Partner with internal stakeholders and manage third-party vendors
Develop infrastructure standards across cloud, data, security, and access management
Recruit, mentor, and lead an IT Operations team
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of IT Operations leadership in complex, enterprise environments
Strong experience with
cloud platforms
(Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)
Expertise in
cloud security, infrastructure monitoring, and compliance
Hands‑on experience with ITIL / ITSM and ITOM frameworks
Familiarity with tools such as
Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, LogicMonitor
Proven ability to lead under pressure and manage critical incidents
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Background in
financial services, investment banking, or similarly regulated environments
highly desirable
