Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be $20.00–$22.00 depending on youranticipatives.
Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are 8–10 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device provided by Hallmark.
Holiday support: assist during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May require work on the holiday itself.
Department resets: participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance.
Team support: support other team members as needed in your territory.
Physical Requirements Physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lbs, up to 50 lbs on occasion. Requires kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Can read, write and understand English.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents.
Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
Have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
