Overview
This VISTA member will develop long-term hospitality strategies, visitor support tools, and collaborative partnerships that improve how BOA interacts with the public and how local businesses benefit. They will work to improve visitor experiences and tourism hospitality infrastructure, help strengthen community engagement and local tourism partnerships, develop sustainable hospitality training and volunteer/staff support systems, and support regional tourism visibility and economic-impact communication. Member duties, program benefits, terms, service areas, skills, and program details are provided below. Responsibilities
To build and strengthen Backroads of Appalachia’s hospitality, tourism engagement, and community partnership systems to enhance visitor experience, support regional tourism growth, and increase the economic impact of motorsports tourism across Appalachian counties. Develop long-term hospitality strategies, visitor support tools, and collaborative partnerships that improve how BOA interacts with the public and how local businesses benefit. Program Benefits
