Foothills Marketing is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Trainee. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for candidates interested in developing communication, customer service, and sales skills through hands-on experience. In this role, trainees work both in-office and at local retail locations, supporting promotional campaigns, engaging with customers, and assisting with sales and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Promote client products and services in retail environments
Communicate directly with customers to support brand awareness and engagement
Assist with the sales process, including product presentation and customer interaction
Collaborate with team members on marketing and branding initiatives
Build professional relationships with clients, retail partners, and internal team members
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service or sales is helpful but not required
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn, receive coaching, and take initiative
Reliable transportation to a Spartanburg-based office and local retail locations
Ability to work in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed base salary plus performance-based incentives
Estimated annual earnings range: $35,000–$65,000, based on base pay and performance
Fully paid, hands-on training program
Mentorship from experienced team members and managers
