Full Time: 37.5 hours per week, Flexible Schedule, Hybrid Position Starting Rate of Pay: $20 -$22 per hour, negotiable based on education and years of experience SUMMARY OF DUTIES The Senior Employment Specialist supports individuals receiving services in community-based employment settings by providing on-the-job coaching, skill development, job development, and ongoing support. A core responsibility of this role is ensuring high-quality, detailed, and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards. The Senior Employment Specialist demonstrates flexibility, strong communication skills, excellent organization, and effective time management while fostering independence and success for individuals at work. The position is 37.5 hours a week, typically Monday through Friday between the times of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends required to meet individual needs. Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related human services field, plus one (1) year of full-time direct service experience with adults with developmental disabilities. Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, or a closely related field. Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred. First Aid and CPR certification will be provided upon hire. Valid New York State driver’s license in good standing, New York automobile insurance, and a reliable motor vehicle required. Benefits
