- They are fully on-site Monday through Friday
Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:
- Manage corporate customer accounts to ensure payment collection
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to set priorities and maintain detailed notes
- Connect with corporate customers via phone and email regarding past-due invoices
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and other disputes
- Coordinate with the sales departments to address customer concerns related to payment
- Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate
- Assist with accounts receivable month-end close activities
Background Expected of the Collections Specialist:
- AD or BS in Accounting preferred; comparable experience will be weighted similarly
- 1+ year(s) of experience in an office setting with outgoing communication responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize customer relationships and handle difficult conversions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a major software management system
Salary, based on experience:
$45,000 – 55,000
