Technical Sales Consultant

INVENSITY, Inc., is looking for a sales professional who will be responsible for client acquisition for business development. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 workdays in the Detroit office.

Responsibilities

Develop networking strategies to promote our engineering consultancy services directly to decision‑makers in the industry, including attending relevant events and conferences

Identify and acquire adequate cooperation partners for INVENSITY by conducting market research within the automotive product development industry

Focus sales efforts by studying existing INVENSITY projects and services

Conduct B2B customer acquisition through cold calling, delivering emails, following up on warm leads, and other outreach methods to secure new business

Collaborate with our consulting engineers to recognize the potential of your customers and explain the advantages of working with our services

Manage the sales pipeline and sales process from prospecting to closing deals

Qualifications

Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, sales, marketing, management, or similar course of study

1+ years of experience in client business generation through cold calling sales

Preferred experience with sales tools such as Zoom Info

Driven and persistent when cold‑calling and developing new business leads

Must be goal‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivated. Reflects excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to successfully conduct prospecting meetings

Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify industry needs and connect with relevant players, including clients, partners, and colleagues

Enthusiastic for new technologies and their potential impact on the industry
