Overview We are seeking a motivated and highly organized
Sales Engagement & Account Manager
(Hybrid SDR / Account Management Role) to support both sales conversion and ongoing customer relationships. This is a unique hybrid role that primarily focuses on
engaging qualified leads provided by the company
and managing customer accounts through renewal.
While the role does
not primarily involve cold prospecting , there may be opportunities over time to support
targeted outbound or cold outreach initiatives
as the sales organization evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement & Appointment Setting: Follow up with
qualified leads
from conferences, events, inbound inquiries, and curated lead lists
Engage prospects via phone, email, and digital channels to assess interest and needs
Schedule discovery and sales meetings for assigned Sales Representatives
Ensure timely, professional follow-up to maximize conversion from provided leads
Maintain accurate lead and activity records in the CRM
Account Management & Customer Interaction: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts following the initial sale
Serve as a primary point of contact for ongoing customer communication
Conduct regular check-ins to support customer satisfaction and retention
Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and account growth
Partner with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience
Renewals & Quoting: Manage the renewal process for assigned accounts
Prepare and deliver renewal quotes and proposals
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure pricing accuracy and timely renewals
Proactively manage renewal timelines and mitigate renewal risk
Outbound & Growth Support (As Needed): Participate in targeted outbound or cold outreach campaigns when needed
Support strategic growth initiatives or pilot programs
Provide feedback on outreach effectiveness and messaging
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure a smooth handoff from lead to customer
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to improve lead engagement strategies
Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, accounts, and renewals
Report on meeting activity, renewal performance, and account health
Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in sales support, account management, customer success, or related roles
Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable interacting with customers and internal sales teams
Adaptable and open to evolving responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working conference or event-generated leads
Exposure to outbound or cold outreach (even if limited)
Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or services environments
Experience with quoting, renewals, or contracts
