Associate Director – US HIV Payer Marketing

The Associate Director, US HIV Payer Marketing, is responsible for developing market‑access strategies and solutions for the assigned brands. This role collaborates across functions—including Brand Marketing, Integrated Account Management, Outcomes Research and Policy—to incorporate market/customer insights into payer customer‑segment strategies and value‑evidence planning. The Associate Director also collaborates with Global Market Access and Pricing teams on pricing and contracting strategies. The role is part of the team responsible for Payer Marketing of the US HIV portfolio, covering both in‑line, pipeline and launch products. It reports to the Director, US HIV & Infectious Disease Payer Marketing. Responsibilities

Provide U.S. payer input into Brand Marketing, Business Unit Leadership, Global Market Access, Research Laboratories, Integrated Account Management, Legal, Compliance and Finance. Actively participate in the development of value‑evidence strategies; coordinate with Outcomes Research / Value & Implementation (V&I). Leverage market and customer insights to shape market‑access strategies. Develop payer customer‑segment strategy, promotional campaigns and value messaging for all U.S. payer customer segments (health plan, PBM, ADAP, Medicaid, Medicare, federal, pharmacy, hospital and GPO). Develop pricing and contracting strategies for pipeline forecasting. Support appropriate pull‑through activities and payer‑related solutions for field sales and account management teams. Work with Senior Specialist to develop and deploy resources to support managed‑care strategy. Location

Preferred location is hybrid in Upper Gwynedd, PA but may consider Rahway, NJ or another site if the candidate is willing to travel to Upper Gwynedd as needed (up to 25 % of the time). Education

Required: BA/BS degree. Preferred: MBA, MPH or other advanced degree. Required Experience and Skills

Minimum of 5 years combined market‑access, marketing/sales leadership, account management or consulting in the healthcare industry. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand and customer marketing strategies, including innovative and digital engagement. Strong knowledge of marketing principles and activating market‑research insights. Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into customer resources or tactics. Understanding of the mechanics and economics of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including payer segments. Understanding of U.S. healthcare trends and policy issues and their potential impact on business opportunities. Strong strategic, problem‑solving and analytical thinking. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Successful track record of establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships. Strong collaboration, project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks within deadlines. Preferred Experience and Skills

Product launch or launch planning. Consulting/Stakeholder Management experience in a cross‑functional capacity. Previous experience in HIV. Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $142,400.00 – $224,100.00.
