Key Responsibilities:
Own and grow sales activity across the Midwest territory, with a strong focus on amino acid feed additives for poultry and swine nutrition.
Identify new sales opportunities within feed manufacturing, livestock integrators, and related agribusinesses.
Manage all phases of the sales cycle including quotations, negotiations, contracts, and delivery coordination.
Collaborate closely with global operations to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
Gather market intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning.
Maintain strong customer relationships, offering technical guidance and ongoing post-sale support.
Track account performance, manage receivables, and deliver regular sales reporting to regional leadership.
Qualifications:
5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in the feed additives, amino acids, or broader animal nutrition industry.
Established relationships within the poultry or swine feed markets, ideally across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, or other central U.S. states.
Demonstrated ability to drive new business development and manage high-value customer accounts.
Familiarity with international trade operations, logistics, and supply chain workflows related to agricultural commodities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment with remote, international teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Background in supply chain or logistics within the animal feed or ingredient sector.
Technical expertise in feed formulation or amino acid applications a strong plus.
Fluency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and territory planning software.
