About The Role
We're looking for a Founding Account Executive to join our team and help build the sales engine that will define Podqi's growth. You'll work directly with our CRO and founders to close deals, refine our go-to-market playbook, and establish the foundation for a world-class sales organization. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how we sell into some of the biggest brands and law firms in the world. Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle:
Run discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups to qualify and close new customers. Build proposals and ROI cases that convince prospects to buy Podqi. Negotiate contract terms and close deals. Build pipeline:
Research potential customers, generate leads, and develop a consistent outbound sales motion. Work inbound leads from our marketing efforts and founder network. Engage prospects across channels:
Contact leads via email, cold calls, LinkedIn, conferences, and industry events. Develop relationships that drive future sales growth. Refine our GTM playbook:
Improve internal sales processes — decks, call scripts, demo flows, CRM workflows, pricing strategies, and more. Help us figure out what works and double down on it. Collaborate cross-functionally:
Work closely with our CRO, founding team, product, and customer success to ensure we're delivering value and consistently delighting customers. Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role at a B2B SaaS company Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong discovery and demo skills — you know how to run a tight sales process Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch Self-motivated, competitive, and excited to take ownership Ideal Candidates May Also Have
Graduated from law school or worked at a law firm Experience in brand protection, IP enforcement, legal tech, or related industries Background selling into enterprise accounts or complex deal cycles Prior startup experience or job as an early sales hire Existing relationships with brands, entertainment companies, or law firms Competitive base salary + generous commission with equity in a fast-growing startup Premium health, dental, and vision insurance Monthly fitness stipend Dinners provided in office Opportunity to be a foundational member of our GTM team and grow into leadership We're moving quickly to revolutionize how IP is protected in the digital age.
