Marketing Coordinator - Entertainment • Hybrid NYC
Pay: $28/hr – $30/hr DOE
Client Overview Our client operates within the global entertainment and media distribution space, working closely with creative teams and clients. The business is fast-paced, client-focused, and deeply involved in content licensing, distribution marketing, and creative asset management across traditional and digital platforms.
Role Overview The Marketing Coordinator
will support marketing initiatives across the full 360 lifecycle of content licensing, including pre-release sales support, client management, and global FAST initiatives. This role is highly collaborative and client-facing, working closely with regional sales teams, creative services, and cross-functional partners in both the U.S. and UK.
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities
Manage and troubleshoot internal and client requests related to screening platforms and materials portals
Support clients with marketing asset requests, requiring frequent cross-functional and client-facing communication
Assist with event coordination, including RSVP tracking, invitation creation, and event administration (on-site support may be required)
Support the creation and management of sales materials, including PowerPoint decks and sell sheets; work independently and with external designers
Participate in calls and relationship-building with U.S. and Canada sales teams and internal stakeholders
Manage screening platform content, including screening rooms, episode encoding, uploads, and episode orders
Coordinate sell sheet development by briefing designers, managing approvals, and overseeing distribution
Provide ongoing client support as needed
Research creative materials and contribute to idea generation
Participate in creative briefings
Manage creative assets including quality control, delivery, and archiving
Lead campaign audits and recap efforts
Support brainstorming, production, and execution of special projects such as promotional items, presentations, and special events
Provide general marketing team support and light executive administrative assistance as needed
Marketing Coordinator Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of marketing experience; entertainment, media, or creative agency experience strongly preferred
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (required)
Experience or familiarity with sell sheets / one-sheets
Event support experience, including RSVP tracking and invite creation
Creative literacy, including experience managing creative assets
Client-facing experience with confidence handling client scenarios
Understanding of distribution marketing and pitch materials
Background in media or entertainment companies (distribution or licensing experience a strong plus)
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or similar tools
Experience with entertainment and/or television streaming is preferred for consideration
Ad-sales background is a must
