Position Neuroscience Sales Specialist - Boulder, CO
Johnson & Johnson has entered into an agreement to acquire Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of therapeutics for central nervous system (CNS) disorders. This acquisition strengthens our ambition of becoming a leading neuroscience company worldwide. Intra-Cellular Therapies, a Johnson & Johnson company, is expanding the CAPLYTA® medical team to support our impact in psychiatry.
Role & Responsibilities The Neuroscience Sales Specialist has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. Responsibilities include understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources, supporting pull-through activities, and embodying Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision of improving lives of patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. The specialist develops superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, creates local strategic/tactical plans, allocates resources, and manages budget and expenses within the territory. They collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists and provide timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, sample and expense reporting, and the development of local business plans that leverage formulary opportunities and other business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.
Utilizes allocated budgets to achieve territory objectives and tailors discussions to customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; shares insights with relevant internal stakeholders.
Provides input into resource allocation across customers/region and selects programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
Works with Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan that achieves objectives; capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategic plan execution.
Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on objectives and best practices.
Manages administrative tasks: hours, sales data, customer objectives, responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
Builds a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products.
Completes all required company and job-related training within specified timelines.

Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, B2B sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military
3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals (preferred)
Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience (highly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Strong desire to improve the lives of patients and caregivers; patient-centric mindset
High integrity and adherence to Company compliance policies
Self-motivated, initiative-taking, entrepreneurial, with strong teamwork and cross-functional skills
Proven ability to learn and adapt in evolving environments
Ability to operate in a telemedicine/virtual environment
Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress and identify opportunities
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
Work hours may include meetings outside of normal hours; some overnight travel may be required
Domestic travel to HQ, training and meetings as needed
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Salary range for this position: $79,000 - $155,000
