Order management specialists are responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of incoming physician orders for various locations. The order management specialist initiates the scheduling process, allowing for appropriate access to healthcare services. Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately indexing orders, maintaining an accuracy rate of 98%. Communicate effectively with provider offices, schedulers, and facility staff as required. Work with hospital departments to advise of any schedule changes. Support the scheduling of patients as business needs arise. Maintain the productivity standards set forth by the department. Recognize and consistently exhibit exceptional customer service as a critical factor in all duties performed. Ability to work within a remote call center environment free from distractions and background noise. Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in typing. General knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual a plus. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. High school graduate or equivalent. One year of previous scheduling experience in the medical field is preferred. Benefits
