As a Capital & Enabling Technology Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in exceeding regional quota attainment of our Capital & AET product segments. The Capital & Enabling Technology Sales Specialist will report directly to the Area Vice President of Sales – Service & Enabling Technology.

What will you be doing? As a Capital & Enabling Technology Sales Specialist, your primary role is to assist in exceeding regional Capital & AET sales quotas by driving clinical adoption, surgeon engagement, and technical ROI through effective pre‑ and post‑sale support. Pre‑ and post‑sales support includes but is not limited to capital & AET sales funnel development, conducting/supporting customer‑facing sales meetings, facilitating successful on‑site trials & evaluations of S+N capital & AET products, and facilitating post‑sale product implementation & engagement.

What will you need to be successful? The Capital & Enabling Technology Sales Specialist will work closely with surgeons, clinical teams, and internal stakeholders to maximize the impact & experience with Smith & Nephew’s Sports Medicine Capital and AET offerings. You will be tasked with ensuring flawless trial execution, maintaining a professional representation of Smith & Nephew, and achieving positive trial outcomes to boost capital & AET opportunity closures. Additionally, you will identify further capital upgrade possibilities within accounts, create collateral materials, and conduct training sessions to enhance Capital & AET evaluations in the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

5‑8 years of capital field sales, or capital‑related field technical support experience

2 years of sales experience with a strong focus on customer service is required.

A technical background of 2 or more years is preferred.

Previous work experience with OR video or other Capital‑related products is advantageous.

Travel Requirements Capital Sales Support as described above (90% travel)

Compensation The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $60,000 – $100,000 USD annually (or hourly). The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
