Goff Law Group is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our fast growing team! Role Overview: The Pre-Litigation Paralegal supports attorneys and law office staff in maintaining pre-litigation client files. Core Responsibilities: Open new case files and maintain accurate case management in the firm’s database. Conduct client calls and gather detailed information regarding accident/incident facts, injuries, treatment and damages. Maintain regular communication with client via phone, email and/or text messages to provide case updates, answer questions and gather necessary documentation. Obtain and review police reports, to include submission of FOIA requests. Obtain and review medical records, billing statements and insurance information. Maintain contact with insurance companies, to include drafting Letters of Representation and providing treatment updates. Obtain documentation of health insurance, draft correspondence to potential lienholders and maintain regular documentation in client files as necessary. Prepare demand packages, including summaries of medical treatment and itemized damages. Organize and maintain detailed case files electronically, ensuring that the files are complete and documented sufficiently and accurately. Prepare settlement statements and coordinate the disbursement process upon resolution of a case. Perform other administrative and case support tasks as needed. Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of personal injury processes and terminology Effective written and verbal communication Discretion and confidentiality in handling client files Proficiency with case management software (FileVine, Vinesign) Ability to manage a high volume caseload with a strong attention to detail Strong client service and interpersonal skills Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal Salary Range: $55,000 - $67,000, based on experience Pre-Employment Screening As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional workplace, all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
