Business Development Manager
who can turn relationships into revenue and visions into velvet. From elegant weddings and corporate galas to graduations and grand openings, you’ll help venues and producers transform spaces with dramatic drapery and soft goods that make every event unforgettable. Your Role in the Spotlight
You’ll be the front‑of‑house ambassador for our curtain rental and production services — driving new business, expanding partnerships, and ensuring every event feels like a standing ovation. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with planners, production companies, and venue managers to craft visual magic and deliver seamless experiences from first call to final cue. What You’ll Be Doing
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the event and entertainment industries Build and nurture client relationships with event planners, rental companies, and production teams Create proposals and quotes for drapery rentals, scenic elements, and full‑service installations Collaborate with operations and design teams to ensure flawless execution and on‑time delivery Attend industry events, site visits, and showcases to promote brand visibility Track opportunities, analyze trends, and help shape growth strategy for key markets Your Toolkit
Proven background in sales or business development — ideally in event production, rentals, or live entertainment Understanding of event logistics, staging, and venue operations Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Eye for design and attention to detail — you know when a space needs a little more drama Comfortable with CRM systems, quoting tools, and project coordination Existing relationships with event planners, venues, or production companies Knowledge of soft goods, rigging, or drapery systems Experience managing regional territories or major event accounts A passion for transforming empty spaces into show‑ready masterpieces About Theater Outsource
