The Order Management Specialist position in our Lake Zurich, IL office is responsible for managing customer orders from receipt to shipment. This position works closely with Sales, Manufacturing and Shipping to ensure accuracy of POs, availability of parts and timely delivery of orders.
Job Responsibilities
Enter and process all incoming purchase orders into ERP System Review customer portals for new orders Identify and investigate PO discrepancies and communicate with Sales staff and customers Field inquiries from internal and external customers, including status updates, stock availability, pricing and shipment tracking information Prepare and provide all necessary paperwork for Shipping department, including packing lists, shipping labels and BOLs Schedule shipments with freight carriers Invoice all orders Submit advanced shipped notices (ASNs) based on customer requirements Enter/update customer forecasts Qualifications
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel Very strong attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment Comfortable entering and retrieving data on multiple customer web-based portals
