District Real Estate Advisors is seeking an Associate Commercial Real Estate Broker to work alongside our brokerage team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in retail commercial real estate brokerage and learn the business by working directly with experienced brokers. In this role, you will gain exposure to both sides of the transactions by supporting assignments for national, regional, and local retail and restaurant tenants as well as landlords and developers that own retail properties. You will also support developers, landlords, and buyers on the investment sales side of the business. You will act as an extension of our clients’ real estate teams by helping identify opportunities, preparing market tours and pitch materials, supporting negotiations, and assisting with deal execution. This position is ideal for a motivated, competitive, and resourceful person who wants to learn fast, build relationships, and grow a thriving career as a retail leasing broker. Responsibilities: Support Senior Brokerage staff across a suite of tenant, landlord, and investment sale assignments, including: Preparing for client meetings and calls Supporting lease negotiations and transaction documents (Leases, LOI’s, Purchase and Sale Agreements, etc.) Participate and support client and property tours Maintaining internal databases and CRM’s Assist in preparing and assembling surveys, real estate committee packages, offering memorandums, outreach agendas, and client pitches Conduct proactive outreach to tenants, retail ownership groups, and industry contacts to uncover new opportunities and clients Consistently prospect and generate new business through both inbound and outbound opportunities Compensation:
This role is designed to support growth in a commission-based industry while still providing stability early on. Monthly draw/stipend option available and negotiable Paid as a consistent monthly advance Reconciled against earned (net) commissions Provides income consistency while you ramp up, build your pipeline, and learn the business Lucrative commission structure Clear path for increased responsibility, company benefits, and earning potential as production and experience grow Requirements: Massachusetts real estate salesperson’s license (required prior to starting the job) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program (Real Estate concentration is a plus) Strong interest in Commercial Real Estate, with a desire to build a career in Retail Leasing Resourceful, self-motivated, and competitive individual with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working both with a team and independently Desire to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with high accountability Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Willingness to commit to the ramp-up period required (18-24+ Months) to build a strong pipeline and long-term success in brokerage Commitment to maintaining a consistent in-office schedule and work ethic
