Overview A growing, privately held company in the food manufacturing sector is seeking a Territory Sales Executive to support continued expansion across the East Coast. This role is responsible for driving new business, managing existing accounts, and developing long-term customer relationships with food and beverage manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the sales strategy for the East Coast territory

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and targeted outreach

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts

Build relationships with customer stakeholders including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams

Collaborate internally to support customer projects and ensure successful execution

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through project completion and post-sale support

Prepare and deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations

Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM

Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity

Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events

Travel up to 50% throughout the East Coast region

Qualifications

4–6+ years of B2B sales experience selling to food and/or beverage manufacturers

Proven success managing a sales territory and developing new business

Strong ability to build relationships across technical and commercial customer teams

Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments

Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 (dependent on experience)

Performance bonus up to two months of salary

Mileage reimbursement for business travel
