POSITION TITLE:

Designer - Accessories (Footwear, Bags, and Belts) REPORTS TO:

Senior Designer POSITION SUMMARY: As a Designer for Women's Accessories, you will play a crucial role in shaping our seasonal collections, focusing on Footwear, Bags, and Belts. This position emphasizes creative execution in line with the brand's aesthetic and philosophy. RESPONSIBILITIES: Continuously analyze and identify market trends both domestically and internationally, aligning them with our brand vision. Collaborate closely with AE design leadership to develop innovative ideas and key items that fulfill seasonal briefs and business needs. Utilize exceptional sketching and vector CAD skills to effectively communicate proportions, details, and constructions for presentations and tech packs. Apply seasonal colors, prints, and patterns to designs after sketch reviews, maintaining alignment with key palettes and color stories. Engage with vendors to source seasonal fabrics, raw materials, and constructions. Assist AE leadership with seasonal presentations and milestones, confidently addressing questions from the executive team. Create comprehensive tech packs that detail specifications, construction, and design elements. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely tech pack hand-offs in accordance with the project calendar. Manage vendor meetings for tech pack presentations and actively collaborate with the production team to ensure product quality meets cost objectives. Work alongside merchants to synchronize design strategies with seasonal needs and adjustments. Effectively manage workload, helping to prioritize tasks amidst overlapping seasons. Collaborate on seasonal calendar and category-specific deadlines to ensure feasibility. Participate in in-person collaboration as required, focusing on product development, milestone meetings, vendor meetings, and approvals. Work alongside the licensing team on seasonal licensed products. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Art, or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of experience in Footwear and/or Accessories design. Strong eye for color, trend, detail, and construction. Able to multitask and prioritize effectively based on business goals. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Excel; PLM experience is a plus. Ability to communicate across departments and possess excellent analytical skills. Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Starting pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience and location.
