Accessories Designer - Women's Footwear, Bags, and Belts REPORTS TO:

Senior Designer POSITION SUMMARY: Join our dynamic team as a Designer for Women's Accessories, where you will be instrumental in shaping our seasonal collections, focusing on the innovative design of Footwear, Bags, and Belts. This position is perfect for a creative individual eager to contribute to our brand’s vision and aesthetic. RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and analyze market trends both domestically and internationally, ensuring they align with our brand philosophy. Collaborate with design leadership to develop exciting ideas and key products that meet seasonal briefs and business objectives. Utilize your exceptional sketching and vector CAD skills to communicate designs clearly for presentations and tech packs. Apply seasonal colors, prints, and patterns to designs following feedback from sketch reviews to maintain brand consistency. Engage with vendors to source seasonal fabrics and raw materials, ensuring quality and innovation in constructions. Support design leadership with impactful seasonal presentations, confidently addressing queries from the executive team. Create detailed tech packs that include specifications, construction details, and design elements. Coordinate with production teams for timely tech pack hand-offs and project calendar adherence. Lead vendor meetings for tech pack presentations, collaborating closely with the production team to meet product quality and cost objectives. Work alongside merchants to ensure design strategies are synchronized with seasonal needs and adjustments. Efficiently manage your workload, prioritizing tasks amidst overlapping seasonal demands. Collaborate on the seasonal calendar and specific deadlines to maintain feasibility and coherence. Participate in collaborative in-person activities such as product development and milestone meetings. Assist the licensing team with seasonal licensed products to broaden our offerings. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Art, or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of expertise in Footwear and/or Accessories design. A keen eye for color, trends, detail, and construction. Adept at multitasking and prioritizing efficiently based on business goals. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Excel; experience with PLM is a plus. Strong communication skills across departments with excellent analytical abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks. PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Starting compensation is determined by various factors including relevant experience and location.
