Role Summary

CD&A - Senior Director, US Forecasting, Rare Disease. Oversees forecasting for several assets and diseases within the Rare Disease business unit, leading a team, and partnering with Commercial leadership to provide data-backed insights. Flexible commuter role to Thousand Oaks, CA or Deerfield, IL; on-site 2-3 days a week. Responsibilities

Primary point of contact for senior Therapeutic Area leaders to ensure development of data/insight driven short term and long term US forecasts for various brands within Rare Disease Preparing and presenting portfolio level forecast updates to address specific questions Facilitate consensus-building among senior partners to establish clear, transparent, and rigorous sales expectations for the portfolio assets by gaining alignment for forecast assumptions Help leadership identify actionable strategies to maximize Commercial potential by identifying and prioritizing relevant risks & opportunities Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform forecasting models and strategic decisions Develop an objective point of view of portfolio strategy by integrating insights across multiple products, functions and capability areas Leverage communication and interpersonal skills to influence leadership on recommended course of action Quantify uncertainty through scenario planning and advanced simulation models (e.g. Monte Carlo, statistical trending) Use diverse pharmaceutical data sources and their nuances to develop and implement enhanced forecasting approaches Create and deliver effective presentations that clearly articulate key variables in the forecast for decision-makers Collaborate with the broader CD&A organization to integrate insights and analytics knowledge into forecasts Drive productivity and efficiency, streamlining forecasting processes where possible Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 5 years of experience in biopharma/biotechnology/pharmaceutical OR Master’s degree and 9 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 11 years; plus at least 5 years of direct people management or leadership experience Required:

Leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation Preferred Qualifications: Leadership experience in building and developing teams; ability to influence SVP/VP level staff; alignment of teams to standard processes; understanding of pharmaceutical markets; partnership with business leaders to deliver high-quality predictions; strong oral, written, and presentation skills for senior audiences
