Job Description:
Other duties as assigned. Leads and participates in quality improvement projects and committees. Prepares and presents reports on quality performance and improvement efforts to senior leadership. Ensures readiness for regulatory audits and inspections. Facilitates training and education programs for staff on quality and regulatory standards. Manages the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of Quality Team members. Coordinates with various departments to ensure seamless execution of quality initiatives. Analyzes data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Provides leadership and direction for quality management activities, including measurement and monitoring of outcomes. Collaborates with executive leaders and clinical staff to promote continuous quality improvement and risk mitigation. Monitors compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical care standards. Oversees the daily activities and operations of the Quality Team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develops and implements quality improvement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Outstanding and current knowledge of issues in the healthcare environment, utilization management, Population Health Management, quality measurements, outcomes studies, healthcare finance, and patient safety. [Required]
• Business and medical practice operations experience (hospital providers and practice-based clinics) and subject matter expertise on Value Based Care, care management, and analytics. [Required]
• Project management and exceptional organizational and management skills. [Required]
• Proficient using desktop applications and database programs, particularly Microsoft Office (access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). [Required]
• Ability to communicate clearly, coordinate and work effectively with teams, including the ability to tailor messages to individuals and audiences throughout the institution with differing knowledge levels. [Required]
• Knowledge of medical technology and terminology [Required]
• Demonstrates independent decision making and critical thinking [Required]
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives to achieve organizational goals.[Required]
• Ability to influence and coordinate many stakeholders to drive Quality and Performance Improvement change throughout a large network.[Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• in Healthcare, Business, Nursing or related clinical field
• in related field
Work Experience:
• 3+ management experience [Required]
• 5+ experience in health care environment. [Required]
• 5+ exprience [Required]
