Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the future Oracle Cloud HCM modules, specializing in Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, and Basic Scheduling. Serves as the Payroll Services representative in design, testing, and system validation, ensuring configurations align with business rules in a complex, unionized environment with over 45,000 employees. Works closely with consulting firms, Corporate Human Resources, and Corporate EITS to ensure proper system setup, configuration, and post-go-live optimization. Utilizes automated testing tools to conduct testing during and after implementation. Assesses quarterly Oracle Cloud releases for potential impacts and coordinates necessary updates • Assist in leading the implementation and ongoing support of Oracle HCM modules, including Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Basic Scheduling. • Collaborate with designated consulting firm to ensure system design aligns with organizational policies and compliance standards. • Support the configuration, customization, and testing of Oracle HCM solutions, including interfaces and data conversion. • Assist in the mapping and provisioning of security roles for Oracle Cloud HCM. • Provide functional expertise in fast formulas, HCM extracts, reporting, and dashboards. • Utilize automated testing tools to support implementation, as well as quarterly updates post go-live. • Develop and execute test scripts as needed. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll and timekeeping processes. • Work closely with Corporate Human Resources and Corporate EIT teams on system enhancements, integrations, and change management initiatives. • Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, test plans, and user guides. • Support post-go-live stabilization, training, and continuous system optimization. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audits. • May supervisor other payroll team members. • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualification Requirements: 1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; and three (3) years of experience in finance and general accounting operations, accounting and financial management, financial reporting, financial auditing, tax compliance, cash management or a related area, two (2) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or managerial capacity; or 2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, in disciplines, as listed in "1" above; and four (4) years of experience, as indicated in "1" above, two (2) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or managerial capacity.
Department Preferences
5+ years in HCM systems; 3+ years in a techno-functional Oracle Cloud HCM role. Proven configuration and support experience in Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, and Scheduling. Experience in highly unionized, large-scale environments (preferably healthcare or public sector). Knowledge of Oracle HCM tools: Fast Formulas, HDL, OTBI/BIP, HCM Extracts, security roles. Comfortable leading testing and automation using OpKey or similar tools. Experience supporting quarterly release cycles in Oracle Cloud. Strong understanding of labor compliance, retro pay, shift differentials, and scheduling rules. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Effective communicator with ability to translate technical concepts to functional users. High attention to detail and documentation standards. Experience working under tight deadlines and managing competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Oracle reporting tools. Leadership experience Benefits
