We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and strategic cost estimates for complex commercial construction projects. This role is critical in driving profitable growth, supporting business development, and ensuring project success from preconstruction through award.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and final cost estimates for commercial projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents Lead quantity take-offs and pricing efforts Develop bid strategies, scopes, and subcontractor comparisons Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives Support preconstruction meetings and client presentations Maintain historical cost data and market pricing trends Mentor junior estimators as needed Qualifications
8+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial projects Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor, and pricing Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Preferred Experience
Experience with negotiated and hard-bid projects Background in sectors such as healthcare, data centers, education, retail, or industrial What’s Offered
