What You Need Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field 5+ years of experience in estimating for pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, or industrial construction Strong experience with model-based quantity take-offs using Navisworks Proficiency in interpreting orthographic and isometric drawings Solid understanding of industrial pipe fabrication processes, modular construction, and structural steel interfaces Proficiency in estimating software, MS Excel, and digital take-off tools Familiarity with piping specifications, material grades, welding requirements, and QA/QC impacts on cost Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret incomplete design documents Preferred
Experience estimating modular or prefabricated systems Background in estimating for clients in pharmaceutical, chemical, data center, or advanced manufacturing sectors Experience in client-facing and cross-functional collaboration within preconstruction environments
What You Will Do
Prepare cost estimates for process piping, modular assemblies, and structural steel components Perform take-offs from 3D models, isometric and orthographic drawings Evaluate constructability, fabrication sequencing, and modularization opportunities Analyze material and labor costs, solicit vendor/subcontractor quotes, and identify project risks Collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and support business development efforts Participate in scope reviews, estimate handoffs, and post-award procurement What We Offer
