We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Sales Tax Manager to join our team. This individual will manage Brio’s multi-state sales and use tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of filings while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. What you’ll do
Oversee preparation, review, and filing of monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain and reconcile sales tax liability accounts and related documentation. Research and resolve tax discrepancies, exemption certificate issues, and nexus inquiries. Coordinate and manage communication with external auditors and tax authorities. Support process improvements and system integrations for automated tax calculation and reporting. Advise internal teams on sales and use tax implications for new products, channels, and states. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of experience managing multi-state sales and use tax compliance. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations, nexus rules, and exemption management. Proficiency in tax automation software (Avalara, Vertex, or similar) and ERP systems. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and documentation practices. Strong communication and time management skills.
