Overview As a Market Manager, you will own a territory of offline retail stores, managing the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising. You will influence without authority to drive project deliverables, execute and manage in-store product transitions and retailer communications, and collect market insights. You will train sales associates and support staff on Amazon Devices & Services, positively impacting the customer experience and sales metrics for your territory. Overnight travel to neighboring markets and for team meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

Ensure the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising is properly implemented and maintained across retailers within your area per standards of execution.

Educate store associates on the value of Amazon, Ring, Blink, and eero devices and services in small and large group settings.

Conduct sales and training during large-scale events based on program/market needs.

Manage weekly travel to a large territory of retailers using a variety of sales tools and store profiles to impact sales and brand advocacy.

Manage travel and work expenses.

Use business acumen and critical thinking to identify trends, drive root cause analyses, and resolve issues in store operations.

Collect business and market insights from consumers and store associates to influence product, feature, and channel marketing decisions.

Develop professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Area Managers, Regional Managers, General Managers).

Drive KPIs to increase sales through the offline retail channel and achieve goals in advocacy, compliance, metrics, trainings, coverage, and team objectives.

Complete daily in-store reports documenting visits, including submitting digital photos.

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Amazon, Ring, Blink, and eero display devices and fixtures in national retail stores.

Delegate and influence to drive results, including executing SOPs, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and providing feedback to store managers, regional leaders, and corporate stakeholders.

Invent, simplify, and share best practices.

Manage in-store product transitions and retailer communications.

Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders with national impact.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications

3+ years of retail experience

2+ years of retail sales experience

3+ years of merchandising experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Valid and active driver's license

Access to reliable transportation to travel between worksites

Must reside in the Northern Virginia area

Mobile phone compatible with iOS or Android

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences

Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

6+ years of relevant work experience in retail sales (preferably consumer electronics) or high-tech products

Experience managing multiple retail accounts/locations

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
