Your impact

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Construction Manager to oversee complex petroleum and natural gas pipeline construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale natural gas infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on safety protocols and regulatory compliance. This role requires excellent leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients and stakeholders. The successful applicant will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control throughout all phases of construction.

Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. This role is located on-site in the Colorado area and will be onsite with regular relief/rotation. Only local candidates, or those open to relocation, will be considered.

Responsibilities

Oversee complex petroleum and natural gas pipeline construction projects to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control across all construction phases.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors; liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Develop and deliver on project scopes, contracts, and reports.

Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management, or equivalent years in natural gas construction industry experience

10+ years of experience managing projects or onsite field construction

Strong working knowledge of gas piping systems, remote telemetry, remote operated valves, P&IDs, PFDs, site layout, material take-offs, and OSHA/DOT safety protocols

Background in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and/or Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is preferred; other, relevant experience will be evaluated

The base salary range for this position is $144,600.00 to $189,825.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
