Overview Community Engagement Account Manager (CEAM). We are seeking an experienced, results-driven professional for the role of Community Engagement Account Manager. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and work within the local community to drive performance for a launch brand is essential. Cross-functional partnership and adaptability in a launch context are critical. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives. Outcomes will be achieved by partnering with local community organizations and aligning to ViiV’s mission of leaving no person with HIV behind within an integrated account management framework.
This role provides the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career; responsibilities include the following:
Responsibilities
Identify, target, and execute business within the local community to elevate our approach to HIV prevention and treatment
Identify and lead community-related initiatives that augment territory-level sales in partnership with matrix teams
Deliver branded and unbranded content targeting Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHCPs) and patients/consumers
Focus on delivering clinical information and the role of a long-acting injectable in HIV prevention and treatment to underrepresented diverse populations and decision makers
Promote promotional activities for long-acting injectable HIV prevention and treatment, engaging communities and organizations disproportionately affected by HIV
Engage with social workers, case managers, treatment educators, discharge planners, outreach workers, benefits/implantation administrators, and others linked to the community in key organizations (AIDS Service Organizations, Faith Based, ethnic organizations, and other community-based groups)
Provide culturally relevant resources for discussing PrEP and treatment options to key customers
Develop strong community networks and pathways to PrEP and linkage to care to expand outreach to underrepresented populations
Align and execute business plans tailored to local market needs to help HCPs scale prevention and treatment models in partnership with sales
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical) to deliver an integrated product experience
Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive, integrated ViiV experiences for customers
Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and scalable successes
Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree
3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including specialty or HIV experience
OR 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community-based organizations
Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including nights, weekends, and overnight travel; majority time in the market
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish
Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Health Policy, Health or Allied Health fields
Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or HIV treatment, with enthusiasm to promote new long-acting injectables
Experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable objectives
Experience navigating and influencing stakeholders; establishing community networks and pathways to expand outreach
Experience in defining and executing market development strategies
Strong planning, analytical, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
