Community Engagement Account Manager . The role requires thriving in a fast-paced, complex environment and working within the local community to drive performance for a launch brand. Cross-functional partnership and adaptability in a launch context are critical. The successful candidate will have experience developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives. The role involves outcomes-based partnership with local community organizations and alignment to ViiV’s mission within an integrated account management framework. Why you?
Responsibilities
Identify, target, and execute business within the local community to elevate HIV prevention and treatment approaches
Identify and lead community-related initiatives that support territory-level sales in partnership with matrix teams
Deliver branded and unbranded content for Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHCPs) and patients/consumers
Provide clinical information about long-acting injectables in HIV prevention and treatment to underrepresented diverse populations and decision-makers
Promote promotional activities for long-acting injectables, engaging communities and organizations disproportionately affected by HIV
Engage with social workers, case managers, treatment educators, discharge planners, outreach workers, and other community-linked roles within local organizations
Provide culturally relevant resources for discussing PrEP and treatment options to key customers
Develop community networks and pathways to PrEP and linkage to care to expand outreach to underrepresented populations
Align and execute business plans tailored to local market needs to help healthcare professionals scale prevention and treatment models in partnership with sales
Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical) to deliver an integrated product experience
Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive, integrated customer experience
Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and scalable solutions
Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree
3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including specialty or HIV experience
OR 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community-based organizations
Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including nights, weekends, and overnight travel, with the majority of time spent in the market
A valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish
Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Health Policy, Health or Allied Health fields
Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or treatment
Experience developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives
Experience navigating and influencing key stakeholders and establishing community networks
Experience defining and executing market development strategies
Strong planning, analytical, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
