Vice President of Business Development

Delhi, India (with frequent international travel)

Position Overview:

Aviation Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. While prior experience in aviation sales is preferred, candidates with sales experience in hospitality or related industries will also be considered. The Vice President of Business Development will be based in Delhi but will be required to travel extensively, primarily to North America, Europe, and the Middle East, to attend trade events, shows, and meet with clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market presence.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, working closely with legal and executive teams.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

Represent Continuum Aviation at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, serving as a brand ambassador and thought leader.

Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in aviation or hospitality, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.

Prior experience in aviation sales or related industry preferred
