Responsibilities

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing with state and local government customers

Build trust-based relationships with senior-level sales professionals

Understand customer strategies and provide tailored recommendations based on their business needs

Develop and implement strategies for revenue growth within existing accounts and new business opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer success and satisfaction

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of related experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree

Proven experience in selling within a SaaS organization, ideally with multi-year contracts

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Expertise in managing a sales pipeline and closing contracts at the state or agency level

Willingness to travel to designated states for customer meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with solution-selling methodologies such as Challenger Sale, Customer-Centric Selling, or Business Impact Selling

Familiarity with technology skill development platforms and their value proposition

Previous experience in building mutual buying plans and forecasting business
