What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close with State and Local business customers
Build trust-based relationships with senior-level sales professionals
Understand customer strategies and related capability requirements
Educate customers on the value of the platform throughout the adoption cycle
Develop and set strategies aligned with business goals to drive growth
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 8 years of related experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree
Experience managing a pipeline and closing SLED contracts at the state or state agency level
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Expertise in full sales cycle with an emphasis on business development and pipeline management
Willingness to travel to specific states for customer meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience selling in a SaaS organization, ideally with multi-year SaaS contracts into the C-Suite
Based in the East (MO, TN, KY, IN, OH, WV, PA)
