About The Role

What you need to know:

The Unclaimed Property Specialist must gain / possess a complete understanding of all processes and tasks related to managing unclaimed property received from various departments, end-to-end to include reporting unclaimed property to state entities, meeting all regulatory requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Understand the import process and work with business units and TPAs to ensure data and funds are receiving in good order and successfully imported to TrackerPro.

Provide stellar customer service internally when assisting business units and TPAs with unclaimed property and externally when interacting with various government entities regarding state filing or reimbursements.

Provide guidance, training and assistance for the Accenture UCP team as need, building strong and successful working relationships.

Understand the state reimbursement request process and work to submit requests timely and keep reimbursements in standard.

Provide quality control as needed, to include conducting monthly self-audits for the team, communicating the findings to management and working with the team to improve performance in all areas.

Provide acceptance testing for system updates.

Provide support for department director, working in tandem to monitor all processes, assist in all audits and successfully meet all regulatory requirements with regard to managing and reporting unclaimed properties.

Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage emails.

Ability to work successfully in a structured fast paced team environment which means your day will go by fast. You must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong analytical and collaboration skills

Flexibility to adapt to fast-changing priorities

Track record of effectively managing multiple project deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Work Location This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Amarillo, TX and Houston, TX offices and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
