Business Development–Focused Recruiter
who thrives on opening doors, building client relationships, and converting conversations into revenue. This role is ideal for someone who sees recruiting as a
sales-driven business , not just candidate placement.
The Role You will spend the majority of your time on
business development —identifying new clients, pitching Ascendo’s staffing solutions, and expanding existing accounts—while partnering with internal recruiting resources or managing full-desk delivery as needed.
What You’ll Do
Lead new business development
efforts within Ascendo’s core staffing verticals
Prospect via cold calling, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
Pitch temp, temp-to-perm, and direct hire solutions
Open and grow client accounts across professional staffing industries
Negotiate contracts, bill rates, and fees
Build long-term, repeat-client relationships
Collaborate with recruiters to ensure high-quality delivery
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of
staffing sales or business development
experience
Proven track record opening new client accounts
Understanding of professional staffing models (temp, contract, perm)
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Entrepreneurial, competitive, and self-driven mindset
Compensation & Growth
Uncapped commission with a strong split

Senior BD, Practice Lead, or Market Director
