with a strong
business development mindset —someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and owning their desk end-to-end. This is a true
360 role
with heavy emphasis on
client acquisition and revenue growth . What You’ll Do
Drive
new business development : prospect, cold call, network, and build long-term client relationships Manage the
full recruitment lifecycle : intake calls, sourcing, interviewing, presenting candidates, and closing deals Build and manage your own
book of business Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver tailored solutions Negotiate bill rates, fees, and contracts Maintain strong pipelines of active candidates and clients Use ATS/CRM tools to track activity, pipelines, and performance What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in
staffing & recruiting
(full desk preferred) Proven success in
business development or sales
within staffing Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills Entrepreneurial mindset—you take ownership of results Comfortable with outbound sales and relationship-driven recruiting Experience recruiting in professional verticals (Finance, HR, Admin, Logistics, Construction, etc.) is a plus Why Ascendo
