Overview

A Business Development Manager will perform tasks to the highest standards to drive revenue and brand presence for Hilton Curio brand properties. Responsibilities

Actively prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within assigned market segments to drive room, catering, and ancillary revenue in alignment with Hilton Curio brand standards. Review and analyze rate and inventory management and strategy effectiveness in a proactive manner. Conduct regular outside sales calls, site visits, and market tours to develop strong relationships with corporate, leisure, group, and social accounts. Entertain clients and key prospects through hosted site inspections, meals, networking events, and familiarization experiences to promote the hotel's Curio Collection identity. Develop and execute strategic account plans for new and emerging accounts, focusing on long-term revenue growth and customer loyalty. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, chamber meetings, and networking functions to expand market presence and generate qualified leads. Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management team to identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and targeted business development strategies. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and account production in Hilton sales systems (Delphi). Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, activity benchmarks, and key performance indicators related to new account acquisition and revenue generation. Coordinate with internal departments, including catering, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of client events and exceptional guest experiences. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form with Management and Ownership groups. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work well under time pressure and/or demanding travel schedules. Excellent interpersonal skills and a full understanding of professional ethics, decorum, and social skills required for extensive interaction with customers, investment owners, and business partners. Ability to perform critical analysis. Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and to develop approaches to these challenges. Excellent selling capabilities and the ability to coach selling techniques to Team Members. Demonstrated experience in a similar role with the Business Development or Sales function. Desirable capabilities

Knowledge of hotel property management and sales systems (Delphi and Knowland). Equal Opportunity
