POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Traffic Specialist is responsible for overseeing the workflow of marketing projects ensuring on-time completion. This is expedited by utilizing project management software, maintaining vendor relations, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. This role will work with the marketing team to assign projects, track project status, and secure external vendors. The position also provides strong support for the marketing department by managing the procurement of branded items, assisting with occasional event planning, and processing financial paperwork. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction.

Responsibilities 40% Monitor Projects through Project Management Software
Monitor, route, and track projects in project management software to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.
Add marketing requests and assign roles in project management software.
Review project status during weekly team meetings.
Develop and monitor digital production calendar.
Become a subject-matter-expert in project management software to set up systems, archive projects, train employees, and develop procedures.
30% Department Administrative Support
Assist in writing the Lenny’s Spot Newsletter utilizing email software.
Maintain internal platform updates.
Assist in proofing long‑form print and digital collaterals.
Assist with Halloween Celebration or other campus event planning.
Assist in placing print ads, copy center orders, and disseminating collaterals.
Maintain the Media Kits from print, digital, and signage vendors.
25% Marketing Projects
Assist in writing the Lenny’s Spot Newsletter utilizing email software.
Maintain internal platform updates.
Assist in proofing long‑form print and digital collaterals.
Assist with Halloween Celebration or other campus event planning.
Assist in placing print ads, copy center orders, and disseminating collaterals.
Maintain the Media Kits from print, digital, and signage vendors.
5% Marketing Support
Participate in college committees as needed and provide input to the direction of college marketing initiatives.
Qualifications Education and Experience
Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related discipline required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two to four years of relevant occupational experience required.
Certifications, Licensure, Registration
Certification(s) in project management software preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge
Knowledge of Lakeshore’s mission, vision, and strategic direction.
Familiarity with different leadership styles and techniques.
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Experience with project management software, SMARTSHEET preferred, not required.
