Overview The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the fast-paced, engaging, ongoing development and execution of a highly customized digital marketing strategy. The role is responsible for maintaining and developing social media platforms, email marketing applications, and digital marketing tools. This position plans and implements the digital communication and social marketing strategy to increase engagement, enhance the college brand reputation, and support enrollment growth through lead generation. Additionally, this role is expected to provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction.

Responsibilities Social Media (50%)
Plan, develop, and curate original social media content for multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube that reflects the college mission and brand strategy, as well as advances marketing and communication goals.
Create plans to reach and grow key target audiences using relevant platforms and social media advertising.
Develop a monthly social media content calendar and innovative digital advertising campaigns in alignment with the college brand and strategic goals.
Regularly maintain and monitor the College’s social media channels for accuracy and engagement opportunities as well as to flag important or concerning content.
Participate as part of an on-call rotation to monitor and respond to social media inquiries outside of normal business hours, including limited evenings and weekends, and during key events.
Collaborate with college divisions and faculty to curate engaging content, as well as support promotion of college news and events.
Collaborate with the Marketing creative team to align digital communication with traditional brand communication tactics including the website.
Utilize analytics and other feedback systems to establish strategy, forecast results, drive improvement, and provide monthly reports to the marketing team.
Provide recommendations to help identify opportunities to improve engagement and elevate Lakeshore’s digital presence.
Continue ongoing professional development to administer social media best practices and improve engagement.
Email Campaign Management (20%)
Monitor and maintain the email management platform including contact management and campaign reporting.
