divh2Job Posting/h2pEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/ppAssists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner./ppInforms customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line./ppAnswers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information./ppReviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate./ppPulls and fills orders from stock./ppNotifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention./ppLocates out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention./ppNotifies the service advisor, body shop and the customer when special ordered parts have been received./ppPulls orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number./ppFollows up on back-ordered parts./ppVerifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required./ppReplenishes assigned inventory daily./ppMakes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders./ppReceives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization./ppEnsure that all customers receive their copy of the invoice./ppIssues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice or its number is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified./ppKeeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special order parts./ppSets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick up./ppKeeps current on new products and product updates./ppParticipates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program./ppMaintains a professional attitude with co-workers, customers, vendors./ppFollows the dress code the company has put in place. Maintains a clean and neat work area./ppFollows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information./ppReports on time to work and follows schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time./ppKeeps current with training that might be required for this position./ppFollows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity./ppSubmit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test./ppValid drivers license with good driving record./ppSome heavy lifting required./p/div
